Hematology and Disorders aims to publish high-quality original research, reviews, case reports, and perspectives covering a broad spectrum of topics within hematology and associated disorders. Our scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Basic Hematological Research: Investigations into the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying hematopoiesis, hemostasis, and hematologic malignancies.
  2. Clinical Hematology: Studies focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of hematologic disorders, including but not limited to anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukemias, lymphomas, and coagulopathies.
  3. Translational Hematology: Research bridging the gap between basic science discoveries and clinical applications, emphasizing developing novel therapeutics, biomarkers, and diagnostic tools.
  4. Hematopoietic Stem Cell Biology: Exploration of the biology, regulation, and clinical applications of hematopoietic stem cells in transplantation, regenerative medicine, and gene therapy.
  5. Hemoglobinopathies and Thalassemias: Investigations into the pathophysiology, epidemiology, and management of inherited and acquired disorders affecting hemoglobin synthesis and function.
  6. Hemostasis and Thrombosis: Studies focusing on the mechanisms of blood clotting, fibrinolysis, platelet function, and the diagnosis and management of bleeding disorders and thrombotic diseases.
  7. Transfusion Medicine: Research on blood transfusion practices, blood banking, transfusion reactions, and strategies for ensuring the safety and efficacy of blood products.
  8. Pediatric Hematology: Advances in the diagnosis and management of hematologic disorders in children, including congenital hematologic conditions, hemoglobinopathies, and pediatric cancers.
  9. Immunohematology: Investigations into the immunologic aspects of blood transfusion, autoimmune hematologic disorders, and immune-mediated cytopenias.
  10. Hematologic Oncology: Comprehensive reviews and original research on the molecular pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of hematologic malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

Hematology and Disorders provides a vital forum for researchers, clinicians, and practitioners to share their latest findings, exchange ideas, and contribute to the advancement of hematology as a field. We invite submissions from diverse perspectives and disciplines, with the overarching goal of improving patient care and outcomes in hematology worldwide.
